The region’s biggest harvest event welcomes visitors back to the Gorge to celebrate its fall bounty and support local farmers and businesses
Hood River, Ore. – August 24, 2017 – On Saturday, September 23, downtown Hood River, Oregon, will again become the epicenter for fresh-hop beers with the return of Hood River Hops Fest, produced by the Hood River County Chamber of Commerce and presented by CH2M. This one-day festival, now in its 14th year, brings together more than 50 Pacific Northwest breweries to debut their seasonal fresh-hop beers. With over 60 unique varieties available for tasting, the Hood River Hops Fest boasts one of the largest fresh-hop selections in the nation.
Hood River, Ore. – January 26, 2017 – Cider lovers should mark their calendars for April 22, 2017 when the Hood River Chamber of Commerce hosts the fourth annual Hood River Hard-Pressed Cider Fest. More than 20 cideries will serve up 40 different ciders, giving people the chance to sample select 2017 offerings from Hood River County’s very own cider makers, as well as a variety of additional Northwest cideries. The full list of participating cideries will be available at HoodRiver.org in early March.
Hood River, Ore. – January 20, 2016 – This February, Hood River County Chamber of Commerce invites visitors to discover Hood River’s diverse music scene during its inaugural “Hood River Music Month.” Featuring 50 musical events, this multi-week celebration includes everything from classical, jazz, acoustic, indie, rock and bluegrass performances to musicals, films and lectures. Almost a dozen Hood River venues, including wineries,cideries, theaters, hotels, and restaurants, welcome music-lovers of all ages.
