New for 2014

Each fall, the Hood River Valley in the Columbia River Gorge hosts an old-fashioned harvest festival with local produce, food products, arts and crafts, wine, cider and beer tasting, live music, a kid’s zone, and all the best the county has to offer. Visitors come to Harvest Fest to load up on boxes of fresh pears, apples, pumpkins, berries, flowers, and a smorgasbord of foods from pies to jams to smoked salmon to chocolate-covered cherries. Harvest Fest is a great place to get a head start on holiday shopping too. Here you’ll find an array of arts and crafts by regional artists, including glass, wood sculpture, ceramics, photography, jewelry, fiber art, and much more. With live entertainment all day, a kid’s zone, a food court with local and traditional favorites, this October festival is a must for everyone. Harvest Fest happens on the Hood River waterfront overlooking the Columbia River, where visitors can relax and watch windsurfers and kiteboarders play on the water. Find the bounty of the season at the Hood River Oregon Harvest Fest.
