Hood River Foodie February

Located in the agriculturally rich Hood River valley, Hood River has an innovative, regionally-inspired food scene that rivals its big city neighbors but is infused with small-town charm. (The San Jose Mercury News recently dubbed Hood River “a food paradise.”)
This February kicks off the inaugural Hood River Foodie February – a month-long celebration of the area’s outstanding dining scene that gives visitors and locals alike the chance to support local restaurants and discover some of the best food and menus in the region.
Throughout the month, restaurants will be offering Foodie February specials and menus. You can catch them all by following Hood River on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and by visiting HoodRiver.org. Make it a foodie getaway and plan your multi-day stay!
One of the best ways to enjoy Foodie February is to choose five restaurants you have never tried before and share your photos via Instagram. Tag your photos #visithoodriver, #HRfoodiefebruary, #foodiefebfive

5 Ways to Celebrate Foodie February

Hood River is well known for its natural beauty, access to the great outdoors, and thriving beer, wine & cider scenes. But it also offers something many other small towns lack: a talented pool of local chefs committed to sourcing their ingredients from the agriculturally-rich lands nearby. (Hood River is located within the Hood River Valley, home to hundreds of farms and orchards.)
